Kate Powers, NCC, APC

Kate is an Augusta University graduate with a M.Ed in Counselor Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kate utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed holistic approach to support clients through their healing process and desired changes.

Kate is particularly passionate about helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, body image and self-esteem issues, relationship and family conflict, and adjustment to life’s changes. You can expect sessions with Kate to involve exploring ways to improve the mind-body connection, develop coping strategies, encourage self-awareness and insight, and help clients find ways to move forward with confidence.

She is currently only accepting Telehealth clients throughout the state of Georgia, but will be providing both virtual and in-person services in June. When she is not working, Kate enjoys reading, going on walks, taking pilates and spin classes, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats!
