Paige Kimble, LAPC

Hello! You’ve likely arrived here because you’ve been in a dark place. Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed and tired of carrying around the burden of your trauma, grief, or depression. Maybe you’re feeling disconnected from yourself or your loved ones. You don’t have to stay stuck in your old patterns and you don’t have to heal alone.

I work with adults, adolescents, and children and aim to use my warmth and humor to create a space in which you feel heard and prepared to grow. I am particularly passionate about working with clients who are struggling with identity exploration, self-esteem, trauma, and/or grief and loss.

I view my role as a therapist as a supportive figure whose goal it is to help you delve into your deepest challenges, unearth underlying issues, and work towards a more fulfilling life. I also consider therapy to be a process that is intertwined with social justice and therefore take great care in creating a space that can safely house all my clients’ intersecting identities.

My approach to therapy is holistic as well as integrative. I pull from theories including psychodynamic, humanistic, and systemic. I believe in the power of meaningful human connection. As such, I aim to form a strong client-therapist relationship built on empathy, honesty and genuineness. Although therapy is a collaborative process, you are the expert in your own life. I understand that you are more than the “problems” you are experiencing and therefore make it my mission to honor your experiences, stories, and identities with genuine curiosity and openness.

We all deserve support in navigating tumultuous moments in life. I would be honored to be with you in those moments. Regardless of who you choose to be your therapist, however, thank you for coming as far as you already have by seeking mental health care in the first place. If any of this resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out to me to see if we might be a good fit.
